Power trio Hayes & the Rhythm Slaves is formed by guitarist John Hayes of the funk rock legend Mothers Finest.
For years Hayes was looking for a rhythm section that shares his love for genuine seventies hard rock.
Like drummer Karel Dops and Solomon Soul of Bad to the Bone were looking for such a band.
Dops and Soul helped Hayes, who lives in the Netherlands, to get into shape for his American tours with Mothers Finest.
Hayes & the Rhythm Slaves recorded a live album at there debut show.
